RAID Recovery Delivery

If you are local to us, you may make an appointment to deliver your device. Alternatively, you can use any reliable courier service. If you have a large and fragile storage device, such as a complete server, we recommend using a dedicated, same-day courier.

A complex or severely-corrupted RAID array from which recovery has already been attempted by other companies can take anything from a matter of hours to two weeks. Generally, we turn around RAID recoveries within three working days. We do offer an emergency RAID recovery service, and sometimes are able to start returning parts of your most critical data within six hours.

In situations where the RAID array has suffered from multiple drive failure, requiring mechanical repair, the process can be delayed if we have to obtain a donor drive in order to repair the failed drive(s). This can add days to the recovery if a donor is not readily available.

Your data can be returned on DVD if the volume is less than 20GB. Alternatively, you can send us a drive to hold your recovered data, or we can supply you a drive from stock.

If you are sending your drive from outside the UK, please make the following statement on the shipping label:

GOODS FOR REPAIR AND RETURN TO SENDER. COMMERCIAL VALUE $1

Otherwise we may have to pay customs duty and taxes.
