About Buffalo LinkStation
Buffalo LinkStation devices are a popular method of storing, backing up and sharing data in a busy office environment. However, these devices are not supposed to be used as secure backups, and things do go wrong.
- Hard drive failure – red LED light
- LaCie software update failure
- RAID rebuild failure
- Overheating – flashing blue and red light
- Accidental re-format
- RAID array reinitialised
- RAID level migration failure
- Cannot access device or volume
If your LinkStation has a failed RAID and you have tried a RAID rebuild, or you cannot access the device, because a firmware update failed, we’ll recover it. Or maybe a hard disk crashed. Even if the file system is corrupt, we’ll recover your data. We offer Buffalo LinkStation Recovery services from all devices.
If you try to recover the LinkStation yourself, you may cause further damage. You might even cause complete data loss.
